“It’s just so menacing”

I’ll try my hardest to sum this up in a short amount of words because I know most of you stop reading after about the first sentence, but it may be hard to do seeing as it took me and my dad 4 years to build this car.
It goes like this, I always told my dad I wanted a nova, so when I was 15 he surprised me with one, except it was barely rolling, and oh yeah, it was a station wagon. Since then, its been completely stripped down to the shell and rebuilt from the ground up. Brand new everything; motor, suspension, paint, interior. It was kind of like buying a brand new car, except if you built your brand new car in your garage.
As far as the details, its a 1963 Chevy Nova. The motor is out of an 2005 Silverado. I had all of the chrome accessories powder coated black to keep it sleek. I wanted the car to have an overall modern look, while still maintaining some of the classic cliches of a 60′s big body car.
I know what I’m taking to Gallery Hop, whose ridin’ shotgun!?

Ahmad feat. Crooked I – Get Some Money & Go 2 Jail
This jawn by Ahmad featuring the homie Crooked I is pretty dope. Ahmad is releasing his first solo album in 15 years. When I was kid, I would rap “Back In The Day” in the mirror every morning before school. It’s so dope to see him at it again…and still be as dope as he was then. Church.
Ahmad’s project “The Death Of Me” will drop August 10th on weCLAP.

Batter Up!

I decided to rummage through my brothers old baseball cards yesterday, which were stored in old Jordan shoe boxes (OG’s, not that retro b.s), and after about 2 boxes I realized he had some real gems. I was a little too young in the early to mid 90′s to remember sports all that well, by the time I learned about the stars from then they were already legends, but he was front and center to watch Jordan, Griffey, and Emmit. I remember wanting all of his NBA Starter Jackets with the matching snap back. I was always jealous that he grew up in the decade in which sports created a culture off of the field/court. The first person that comes to mind when talking about bridging the gap between sports and sports culture is….well c’mon, do I really have to say his name? Here goes a very rare Michael Jordan card for his ever so short MLB career. Damn the 90′s were sweet.
