Matthew Dear.
“A short piece on how the limited edition art pieces for the new Matthew Dear album Black City were made by artisan sculptors. Designed by Boym Partners, the MDBC Totem were cast in bonded aluminum with a hand-finished gun metal patina. Each totem is inscribed with a short code that allows the owner to access/download the album from matthewdear.com. You get the album and the you get the art without the media getting in the way.”
The Marketing behind this album is very dope, people need to think of more innovative things such as this marketing plan to push their product. I think the idea of music selling itself is cool but you have to catch people’s eye as well and that’s exactly what this did. The music might not even be your taste but you can’t deny that this guy is selling himself correctly. (With that said I need to place a Pause on the last part of that statement.)

Emma stone in this month’s issue of GQ.
“There are plenty of reasons to develop a crippling crush on Emma Stone. At the age of 21, she has partied with the cast of SNL, taken a Jonah Hill head butt in Superbad, and been taught the secret of the perfect margarita by Bill Murray. She lives in New York, works out of the Sunset Tower Hotel in L.A., and also happens to be stunning as a blonde—her natural color—or a redhead……”
#LatePass.
Songs About Jane was the album that really put this band on. After putting that album out, they were on a 5 year hiatus until putting out It Won’t Be Soon Before Long. Now they’ve been working on Hands All Over, claiming that it’s going to be the poppiest album they’ve done thus far. Huge fan of Maroon 5, nice to hear something new from them. Nice to have some dope visuals with a pretty simple concept executed rather “dopely.” lol. I have a feeling we’ll be hearing this song everywhere.
